  Used to be good but for some reason is now terrible. Do not normally write reviews but the service we received tonight was not good enough. 3 people in front of me in queue so was hopeful of quick service. Only ordered 2 kids fish n chips and one adults fish n chips with an extra peice of fish costing $33. Once ordered I was told there was a 40 to 50 minute wait! Ok I'll pop to beach with kids for half hour and return i informed them, which i did. On my return food was ready. Walked across road to eat on grass and discovered it was cold so not sure how long it had been sitting there. Also the fish n chips consisted of 2 pieces of fish as expected but only a handful of chips. I have never had this before. Usually there are more chips than 2 people can eat. I returned to the shop to complain and was informed that this was normal (not according to previous experiences (maybe 12) it was not). I argued my case but was again told that with fish and chips you only get a half a portion of chips. "Really.? This is not usually the case., I won't be returning again then." I replied. The girl behind the counter did not seem bothered. Great customer service. Will not return again and would not recommend anyone does.

  Greasy. Greasy!! GREASY!!! The worst fish, chips and calamari we have had in our lives.

  I feel really sorry for the staff that worked this Friday evening! They were really slammed with orders and they clearly weren't coping. The service was SO bad and definitely could have been handled better. But to be honest if I was the girl working the till and juggling the chips tonight I don't think I could have mustered a smile either really. Definitely needed an extra staff member to just put through orders on the till. I was waiting in line a good 15min before it was finally my turn to order and then it took my fish and chips for one 45mins to be made! Never coming here on a Friday night again and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to unless management support their staff better.
